The Warm Audio WA-FT Fen-tone stereo pair recreates a classic 1950s pencil-style ribbon mic with modern upgrades. Its compact, vented body fits into crowded setups, and a built-in 26 dB JFET preamp lets it work with everyday interface preamps that usually struggle with ribbons.
Highlights
- Stereo pair of compact pencil-style ribbon mics
- Custom Japanese ribbon and rare-earth neodymium magnet
- CineMag USA transformer
- All-analog 26 dB JFET in-line preamp for active use
Great for: electric guitar cabinets, drum overheads, horns and stereo room miking
