The Warm Audio WA-CX12 is a 9-pattern, large-diaphragm tube condenser that recreates the original AKG C12 made in Austria from 1953 to 1963. Those mics are prized for a musical midrange and smooth, never-harsh highs, and the WA-CX12 brings that sound to modern studios.
Highlights
- Large-diaphragm tube condenser
- 9 selectable polar patterns
- Modeled on the original 1953–1963 C12
Great for: lead vocals, piano and natural room recordings in rock, pop, jazz and R&B
